Lol, yeah I remember way back when Wii was unveiled everybody used to think so, even big, professional sources like IGN. XD How wrong they were. They were like 'yeah you place this device on top of your TV, and it creates an invisible force field in which it can track the controller and recognize in 3D space where it is and how it's moved'... XD
