He gave a lot of good answers, especially on Apple. It's obvious that they haven't directly impacted the DS (it's not so clear as to whether apple has impacted the PSP).
However, I think what Apple's platform is doing is hitting a lot of non-gamers before Nintendo gets a chance at them. Apple's platform isn't as well-suited to children as the DS is (though there are quite a few iPod Touches in the hands of older children), so the DS still pulls in a lot of customers there, but the iPhone and iPod Touch are well-suited to the growth demographics of older adults and women.
So what happens when the iPhone and the DS platforms run out of new users to bring in?
