you can't patent the steer wheel of a car, the pedals of a bike, or the shape of a t-shirt... its the way humans use things... for us to be able to use it in our hands have to fit the normal size of a human hand... the wand form is the only one possible so this is a nonsense discussion... besides there is a lot of videos in youtube that shows the all the path sony has walked to bring this technology and nintendo can be responsible for the faster development of sony motion control but can't take the credits for it... also modern way to play games forces sony to make a so called "nunchuck" because without it the wand alone its to limited to be used in a large amount of games... they do the same nintendo do not because they want to copy but because games and gamers need it to be this way!
