Why can't Nintendo just sue Sony for imitation?

Now a nunchuk and wiimote haven't been, and that was exactly what Sony ripped off with no shame and respect.

You're saying that Sony has been thinking about those same controllers and their designs since PS2?

Copying success is not dumb, that's just smart. Sony will be getting all the games from third parties the Wii used to get exclusively. And from what  I hear, it's better anyway.
