Sorry to hear about your girlfriend's mom. That stinks. My girlfriend's grandmother is in the hospital after taking a fall (not joking). She isn't looking too great herself.
I suggest not drinking next time you have a problem though. It's never the solution to anything. Take it from a guy that used to always drink.
