I think I know why I hate the direction the GOW series has taken after GOW1

I'm playing the collection and for me GoW 2 >>>> GoW 1 in terms of gameplay...you know..more bosses is a big plus..
Storywise, they are pretty equal for me..What GoW 2 lacks in character development, it makes up in epicness...
