Anyone else play the Monster Hunter Tri demo?

I also found out I suck at the game, or at least I don't know how to kill the first monster. How do I know how much health it has left? Nordlead, my best advice is to be patient and keep your distance (two things very hard to do while under a time constraint).

The long swordsman has a special attack (R button on the classic controller I believe) that builds up his sword's power with each completed combination of hits.  It deals A LOT of damage.

Be sure to heal often, and use your whetstone on occasion (something I've found necessary for this class).

I wouldn't attempt using the Wiimote + nunchuck combination.  It's way too cumbersome (similar to using the Powerglove on any early Mario Game, utterly pointless -- -- okay, that's a bit hyperbolic, but you get the picture.  USE A CLASSIC CONTROLLER!)
