yea, but there's a point that going to low is like asking the guy who made something cool, for you just to give it to you. for so little what would be the point in just giving it away?

I understand many want the system to be as low as they can , but at a certain point they have to make money on their effort even on the Hardware.

People who have $500 arent gonna waste it on a $400 console with two games they couldnt give 2 shits about, there gonna buy the $200 and buy the games they want.

 

This bundle hardly affects the casual crowd.

well some people look at what the system has to offer, the arcade sell's very well but other's like the extra harddrive space, this is just another bundle for people to be able to buy.$200.00 console is fine and dandy but some people do not like the arcade because it has no harddrive. the Harddrive is a big incentive for some gamer's.

it's not an unreasonable price for the system In my opinion it's pretty d@mn good price for it. I do not think Microsoft is asking to much from gamer's for that Price.

with all that your getting it's a very good value in my opinion,

No doubt its a good deal, but do people really want to pay more? More people would buy a console that is $200 than a console that is $400 and 250 gig HDD and 4 GOTY games and 3 controllers.

the Arcade is a great purchase but to some it lacks the Harddrive which is one of the main drawback's of the Arcade.even though you can add a Harddrive later, some just see it as it's not that much more to go ahead and get the one with the harddrive and get game's to boot. and what that gamer is going to see it that way is maybe I may need it in the future , I might as well get it now.  like I stated that Harddrive is a very big incentive to purchase the unit over the Arcade simple for downloadable content alone. those demo's are nice to have, on your unit even if you want to put out other game's on there the demo's are nice for those quick game's while you may not have enough time to sit there for a couple hour's but have time to play a couple of round's of a game demo or download some demo's while your away.

without the Harddrive the Arcade even though is a nice unit at that price,

it's main drawback of no hardrive is a  problem for some gamer's. that's why there is unit's like the Elite.
