Plasma Beam (Metroid Prime). Plasma is awesome. Watching Space Pirates being vaporized by the Plasma is even awesomer. The Winner: Yoshi (Super Mario World/Super Mario Sunshine/Super Mario Galaxy 2). Yoshi is the ultimate power-up/item. Hit a block, hatch the egg, and watch as Yoshi eats/stomps/incinerates everything in its path. Even as a baby he's a one-dinosaur baddie blasting machine. I can't wait to take a ride in May.  |
Whoa, those 3 (save the Plasma Beam, which I don't really like) are quite brilliant. I can't really think of anything better myself.
In other words, I have nothing to say, and just say "what that guy said".
Yoshi it is.
(Oh, and for pedantic purposes, you forgot New Super Mario Bros.)
