Notables:
Spinner (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). From temple use to boss use, this thing was too much fun.
Wing Cap (Super Mario 64). Awesome ability with awesome music.
Plasma Beam (Metroid Prime). Plasma is awesome. Watching Space Pirates being vaporized by the Plasma is even awesomer.
The Winner:
Yoshi (Super Mario World/Super Mario Sunshine/Super Mario Galaxy 2). Yoshi is the ultimate power-up/item. Hit a block, hatch the egg, and watch as Yoshi eats/stomps/incinerates everything in its path. Even as a baby he's a one-dinosaur baddie blasting machine. I can't wait to take a ride in May.
