I like how he stated in the original interview, "it's a toy, people have got to realize the Wii is a toy, not an entertainment focused product". This means that toys are not entertaining?
The Wii may not be a traditional games machine but it is every bit an entertainment focused product. It has sold to many people who would've never considered buying a console before. This is something Nintendo intended. If the Wii gets more people interested in gaming, maybe some day they will go out and buy a PS3 or 360 too. This effect broadens the market we all love, and that's only a good thing.
