Just saying, different genres have different genres. Why people arew saying FF XIII is linear and stuff is because there isn't a world map and various places you can go in the story.

Still, harsh score. Isn't that the score what KH: 358/2 Days got?

Yep.  Rounding up all their SE reviews this gen...

  • Final fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers (Wii) 7
  • Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, 360) 5

...honestly, I'm more inclined to agree than disagree with EDGE on most of these.  HD RPGs have had it pretty bad in general though (6, 5, 5, 5).

Damn, even TCB got a better score than FF XIII...

Even Project Slypheed got a higher score!

 

I've said it before, XIII has the most anti-hype of any game in recent memory.
