They've been needing to catch up to those western studios they're emulating, cause as far as voice acting goes Square games particularly have been almost amateurish. Best example of this is recently playing FFXII and noticing how one person would sound fine, but then the other sounded like he was talking in a hole... it did not sound like the guys were even in the same room... not what you'd expect coming from Square. |
FF12 voice acting was awesome though :(
