Thanks for detailing what I said in my original Wii Fit prediction thread a few posts ago. I'm not counted out quite yet. Selling over 250,000 in just 2 days is impressive for such a costly & sizable package.

I'll need somebody to help me break down the individual days for next week's tally. Two days will run into the next week after that which would make a 9 day total instead of a 7 day total.

Oh & speaking of crow. Here's something the vaunted Mr. Stickball said in that very thread about Wii Fit's impact. Pay particular attention to that last line.

It just won't happen. There aren't enough Wii units in Japan to do that. The X360 needed 11m units to manage 3.8m units of a heavily frontloaded game. No one will be rushing to the stores to buy WiiFit week one like you think (think Wii Sports/Play).

While you claim that you will own up to bad predictions, that last line makes me wonder. Instead of eating your crow, you're stalling (wait for the 8th!) and then comparing Stickball's rather reasonable (though also wrong) prediction that WiiFit wouldn't sell out to your bat-shit crazy prediction that the game would trump H3 sales in its first week.

Even in your sig you pretty much blame VGCs inaccuracies for a bad prediction.

So, what is it, John? You don't seem quite so ready to eat crow as you constantly claim.
