Has the game been successful from a developer's and publisher's standpoint? It all depends on Sony's original expectations and estimates. However, for a PS3 exclusive that is only playable online and received lukewarm reviews, the game has sold well. We'll have to wait to see how well it does over time, as the game's longevity may influence any decisions to make a sequel. I know that the advertisements are still up in my local shop a month after release, so Sony may be willing to provide the support necessary to give the game long legs.
