aye, Wii Play is selling purely because of the wiimote. I know I saw it as a chance to get some decent minigames alongside my wiimote.

I think you are kidding right.

You just said it was only about getting an extra controller and the second sentence says that you got it because of the game.

This proves my point of these two items selling each other. If they didn't sell them together they would have sold less Wiimotes overall. Say for example they have sold 10 million wiimotes and 4 million copies of wiiplay. Without Wiiplay they would not have sold 14 million wiimotes.

It is just like WiiSports and the Wii. Some people buy the system for the system and the game is secondary, some people buy it to play WiiSports and the system is just to play it. Combined the package is even more attractive. I am starting to question Nintendo's decision to not bundle it in Japan. It might push more consoles bundled.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
