Here's an idea: Shutup. Being the defending champion means very little in a competition where no team has won twice in a row in nearly 50 years. So unless your polls are better, don't complain. Oh wait, you don't make polls. You fail. |
So you think that England (Who won the World Cup in 1966) and Spain (Who actually never even reached the finals) have a better chance at winning this years World Cup than Italy (Who were in the finals 6 times and won 4 of those AND is the defending champion)? Seriously, you tell Hephaestos to shut up, but come on...Italy should've been up there.
I can imagine that you chose Spain, though, since they won the European Championship in 2008. So, the main complain i have with this list is England. Without a doubt Italy should've been up there instead of England. Hell, even France deserves a spot on that list more than England does. France reached the finals 2 times in the last 3 World Cups and they even won in 1998.
Of course, nobody knows who will win the World Cup this year, but 4 countries should ALWAYS be on lists like this: Brazil, Italy, Argentina and Germany. You got 3 of them right, but you missed a VERY important one...
