Again. I just showed you that including Wii Sports on US sales, the Wii has sold just below 16,000,000 software titles on the majority of the systems (around 4.7m units) between Japan and the US/NA. Nintendo was already quoted as giving Europe and other areas around 1.9m units. So we have 1.9m official units as of late March in which Nintendo (as you are stating) has sold 13m units on. Now, answer me: did 13m units of software sell on 1.9m units? We have the NPD data to confirm US sales, we have Famitsu/MC data to confirm J-sales of the games, which again, add upto 16m units (or less). Those 16m units INCLUDE sales since April (to which Nintendo hasn't counted), so it could be anywhere from 1-2m units less. So we have anywhere from 13-15m units of software that is unaccounted for, to goto a region where only 1.6~1.9m hardware units sold.

The 29M sold software figure is indeed mentioned by Nintendo, however these are the numbers sold by Nintendo, not the number of sales to consumers.
Now, that would make me assume (the article was cited in this quote), that the 29m unit figure is the number of sold software to retailers, and not consumers (meaning around 5-10m s/w units are unsold in the 3 territories)

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
