I'm thinking about getting a Wii today, but I'm not 100% sure

^ Which is fine if you're willing to pay $50-60 for every Nintendo game that comes out, even if it's years after release. I personally don't mind if the games I buy drop in price over time. The more affordable and accessible great games are, the better. The fact that someone who bought Galaxy in 2007 is paying the same price as someone today is completely unacceptable in my book. Saying a game is worth $50 is meaningless. Games should simply be cheaper as they get older in most normal situations.

Maybe I was just spoiled by the ps2 last gen where even the most popular and commercially successful games decreased in price or saw greatest hits iterations.
