I am experiencing this at the moment with Zelda:Wind Waker and Super Mario Sunshine. Everyone was complaining about the cel shading look and the "story" they were trying to give a Mario game. To me, as I have been playing Nintendo since the Game Boy/NES, it was a welcome change. This gen, everyone is complaining about Mario having no story and Zelda being just another update of the best game of all time.
