The other funny thing besides people believing PS3 would get there first was the belief they would probably pass the respective marks the same week..Will probably take PS3 over a month to get to 5m after Wii tops 10m.
Also the hilarity of this thread had me smiling incredulously at some of the comments. I mean put context in the mix. People were going to claim 'victory' if PS3 passed a milestone of 5m before a Wii passed 10m? How funny is that. Its in the similar vein of COorD's thread about PS3 sales WW passing Wii's in America.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
