This thread is about the movies that suddenly started appearing in late 2007. I just found out about these and was instantly hooked so I ended up watching all of them, including the one that just came out today.
I have to say I am extremely impressed. They single-handedly have made sure the DC Universe is again a major player for me, not that Marvel had a all that much going for it recently outside of The Avengers. The movies are extremely well made, with true to the story adaptations, pretty good character development in some of them, and absolutely amazing fight scenes. Definitely better fighting scenes than any anime in recent history (now with 90% less powering up and 99% less yelling!). They are also pretty mature with some blood, some mature themes, and a whole lot of awesome violence.
Has anyone else been hooked on these new DC movies? I can easily say they are the best DC movies outside of the good Batman movies and the non-traditional DC comics (Watchmen, V for Vendetts, etc.).
