I think the industry is going to have to play dirty and start delaying release of DVD's and dumbing down content in order to establish Blu Ray as a premium product. Getting costs down wouldnt be a bad idea DVD's in the UK average 7 GBP, Blu Ray's average 20 GBP. People notice that kind of a difference. Oh and while Im at, How about some adverts for Blu Ray in the UK. Most people dont even know what it is ! |
Well they had to do it for DVD to VHS which was a MUCH bigger difference so yeah. It was always going to take some dirty pool.
