Main land Europe is on the whole a racist place, particularly northern, southern and easten europe... spain has a major problem with racism, evidenced at football matches and the grand prix for instance. Much of it is quite under populated and could do with some immigrtation. The UK is very different, immigration had been a huge part of its history for centuries. Cities such as Bradford and Leicester have an asian majority for instance. The UK is also different in that it is pretty much full. Socially and logistically it is hard for the Uk to take much more. |
What the hell is this misinformation? Northern Europe is racist?
And Spain" has a major problem with racism" and is largely underpopulated? Do you know that no other country in the West has accepted as many immigrants as Spain in the last two decades? 6.5 million immigrants in 15 years! Spain's population went from 39.5 mill in 1995 to 46 million in 2009, which procentually is a new record in the West post-WW2.
I'd say they have a major problem with immigration rather than racism.
