I'm sure it's very good, has great gameplay mechanics, balance, polish and everything just like the original Starcraft, but sadly it's not for me since I hate the setting.
I just can't connect with the world, the races or the units. It all feels artificial to me.
FYI I feel exactly the same about Command & Conquer series and Supreme Commander too. If it was an already known sci-fi setting I would dig it, like the Star Wars world. I could relate to a Star Wars RTS.
