My personal opinion is that both are among the best games of the system.

Muramasa is utterly beautiful but is no rpg. I actually think of it as a marvelous refined old school beat'em up. You should get it for the sake of fun and good taste.

Fire Emblem is a real challenge and one of the most rewarding experiences out there. It has a wonderful story, highly solid game play and tons of ours of fun. It is one of my favourite games this generation.

see for me, muramasa really suffered from a low budget, which led to over repetition of settings and enemies. it needed more variation and to me the combat was not satisfying enough to overcome that. in terms of marvelous games, LKS kicks its ass and was the bets game i played in 2009 across all platforms
