 The mayans were mostly gone by the time the spanish showed up. However, the Aztecs, who borrowed from mayan culture, first thought the spanish were gods.

Wasnt there a guy called Notradamus - the guy predicted WW1 & 2, 9/11 and The Great London Fire. Didnt he predict this aswell??


I remember studying him in schools years ago.

He made all sorts of incredibly vague predictions, many of which are nothing more than nonsense. 

But don't let that stop you from believing all this hogwash. Just keep in mind that people thought the year 1000 would be the end of the world... or the year 2000. 

Oh, and most of the people posting in this thread don't know jack about basic science, wether it be how an asteroid impact would effect earth or quasars and the like.
