Because the only people who'd ever own a Wii are apparently senior citizens, toddlers and retards casual gamers. And no Wii owner can think for themselves, so they should buy every game made for the Wii by default, since they just love the half-assed bullshit developers bother to throw their way - advertising, genre, content, quality, availability and personal tastes/preferences be damned.
This is just tragicomical, and I really can't see why it's been going for so long.
