I think it's sad such developers usually fail to add mouse support on the PS3 for such games. For instance I refuse to buy such games on the PS3 as long as they don't start to make this optional, for RTS. Do you realize that EVERYONE needs a computer? Not everyone and I think laptops are more popular, but not the greatest gaming PC options. There are many not so powerful PC setups out there and being sold. Games which are technically less demanding often sell far more than demanding ones (games, PC gamers usually highlight, like Crysis). |
Laptops have been selling better and better recently, agreed. But desktops are still the dominant form of PC. The statement still stands, to go from a PC that handles everyday work such as Office and a gaming PC, you jsut need to drop about $150. No one buys a PC simply to game, not even the most avid gamers, they use them for far far more, things consoles will never be able to even do. So the gaming price is actually a very small amount.
