When did Iwata say Pikmin RPG was in development for DS (handheld?)
To me, the franchise for launching would be Kirby -- since the pink puffer ball is their (unofficial) handheld mascot.

PS -- As for Gameboy generations -- GB and GBC being separate is highly debatable. GB and GBA being separate is not.
