Handheld pokemon games piss me off!

I don't think that kind "maturing" works with pokémon... probably the characters or the storyline, but not that kind. It's absolutely unnecessary.

Though a reboot would work out quite well, evolve the base mechanics a bit, make the complexity of the game more obvious (it's already very complex).
