Gamestop is a atypical as they rely on used games sales. PS2 sells more used games than new, so the demand for PS2 would be abnormally high.
New PS2 games are down 60% in revenue year over year. That drop will worsen as PS2 development is pretty much gone now.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
