Do you believe PC Gaming is dying?

Something with Windows 7 most likely. However, to say that PC isn't backwards compatilbe is a little odd to me. I can load up a game that I used to play on our first DOS computer back around the mid ninties on the same PC that I can play Mass Effect 2 or Crysis on.

With the consoles, they either have BC or they don't. This PC keeps giving me hassle. Took me a while to get DOS games running properly, and yet it still crashes often enough for me to have to save every 2 mins. Unreal Tournament runs crazy fast then crazy slow, I had to turn off a core but there are still problems.

Are you runnign things in compat mode?
