I'm going to buy a Wii just because I like the games coming for it, I'm not a casual gamer neither hardcore, you can check my game collection on my profile (yes I bought RE4.Wii and Zack and Wiki without having a Wii).
All my friends are buying a PS3 and I'll get one late next year, IMO there are more reasos to buy a Wii than a PS3 right now.
I'm not biased against any console I know there are great games on each one, but IMO the console that will have more games of different genres will be the Wii. I don't only like FPS', racers and sport games; I also like platformers, RPGs, strategy, mini games compilations, fighters, adventure, survival horror... You could say I enjoy every type of games. And Wii offers more variety!
