BHR-3 said: i brought up slim launch thing b/c of the many post saying 360 is owning in america
it is overall yes (it had 1yr head start and i dont know how they counted rrod replaced 360s) but as of late specifically slim launch ps3 managed to outsell it by 101k which is a fact according to npd numbers i see ps3 outselling the 360 at least 4 months out of the next 7 months going by npd
also just look at ur vgc numbers there pretty close to each other ps3 had some shortages sometime since slim launch either in october or in december or both and theres also a 360 sku 100$ less than the slim
i also brought it up b/c since slim launch its kind a of a fair battle 300$ elite vs 300$ slim both with 120gb HDDs but the elite came with 2 games would be nice if we could know how many 120gb slims were sold vs how many elites were sold in this time period

Well that's nice you think that, but it won't happen. No games coming out are going to boost sales enough in America alone to make up for monthly defecits of 60k+. Now that the sales have cooled off from holidays, the 360 will remain above the PS3 in America pretty much from here on out.
Also, while the 360 had a year head start in the US, it has also increased its lead in the US from that first year by about 6 million... so that's a silly useless argument. Oh and the attemptive trolling by using RRoD replaced 360s bit.... MS does not count RROD repaired units as another sale. Yours breaks, you send it in, it gets repaired, total number of 360s stays the same.
