I believe so. Why do gamers constantly lament the Nintendo and the Wii as casual? In my opinion nothing could be further from the truth. Sure the WII and the DS are crammed full of shovel ware and crappy casual games. However, I implore you to show me a system with more variety in its gaming catalog than Nintendo. Thats right Nintendo has the system for the well rounded gamer either at home or on the road. Since the launch of Halo and the growth of FPS Nintendo has gain a rep as a casual gamers system. Well I call bull shit on that. Show me a system with a more balanced library of games, I guarentee you can't. The Wii and DS have something for everyone.

Platformers Wii has them in Spades

Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario, De Blob, Klonoa, Chronos Twins DX, Wario Shake it, Nyxquest, plus classics like Mario 1-3 and World as well as Kirby, Sonic and Donkey Kong. Not to forget all of these games got an 8.0 or better on IGN.

Like PVP Fighters

Try Smash Bros, Tatsunko vs Capcom, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and for a little old school Samurai Showdown or Street Fighter 2. Once again all 8.0 or better

Maybe your a racing fan

Try Mario Kart new or SNES one, Wave race 64, Excitebike, Excitebots Trick Racing, Excite Truck, Need for Speed Nitro, Driift all over 8.0.

Like shooters well the system is a little light on Halo esq FPS there still is plenty to play

Sin and Punishment, Lifeforce, Gradius, The Conduit, Gates of Thunder, Lords of Thunder, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, House of the Dead Overkill, Contra Rebirth, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles, Geometry Wars, Gradius, COD World at War. Thats lots of shooter variety and all of it quality.

That is just the tip of the iceberg, Since up til now I didn't mention Zelda, Resident Evil 4, Metroid, or the back log of awesome Gamecube Titles.

And thats just for the WII

The list for the DS is longer and has less competition.

Needless to say if you can't find something to play on a Nintendo System then your not a gamer and maybe you should just start calling your self a FPS Enthusist.

As for me I going to beat my Grandma at some bowling, get in a quick work out on WII Fit, play some Conduit or No More Heroes, then make dinner with my personal trainer cookbook and then play some Chrono Trigger on my way to class. Good luck doing that on any thing but Nintendo.
