They profited for Jan-Dec 2009, but had a loss by one measure (GAAP) for Oct-Dec 2009. It seems like by non-GAAP measures they profited but I can't really tell. My guess is they moved some of the costs for merging with Blizzard/Vivendi into the current quarter when they knew profits from games like Modern Warfare 2 would be enormous.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.
