There is a good chance the updated figure represents sales/royalty reports for say, the months of December and January. Not that I know exactly what that schedule is, but I do know after launch week reports it is at least monthly or bi-monthy, sometimes tri-monthly. I only know for sure in regards to some small devs/pblishers though (which are bi or tri), so who knows what deal EA has worked with Steam/Impulse/etc. Because I do think EA is including DD sales in the "shipped" numbers. It just so happens that for DD e-tailers, a "shipped" copy is also a "sold" copy. Sell-through is 100% on DD Make more sense now? |
Yes it does! I understood the green part now, and I hope your theory is right (about the timing/lag of DD shipments)!
