I would bet on their next console having amazing sales... Although, it is possible for Nintendo to support Wii fully with its next console out... but I don't think they would want the Wii getting in the way of their next system's potential. Why wouldnt they support the Wii for as long as possible?
The Nes was supported for 12 years in the US and for 20 years in Japan
The Snes was supported for 9 years in the US and 13 in Japan
So there is no reason to think that Nintendo would support the Wii for less then 9-10 years
