letsdance said: Oh my god. They aren't going to ship hundreds of thousands of units if they arent selling. Famitsu doesn't count DLs WHICH STILL COUNTS AS SALESD! You drop your bullshit its so fucking annoying |
The only bullshit in here is the idea that only 50k bundles went to Europe and some meaningless 6.5% figure. And no, downloads actually wouldn't count as sellthrough.
sell through means absolutly nothing... we are talking about brand power and how much sales a certain game generated. DLed or not someone wanted it enough to buy it. And its not my job to prove the numbers. ITS YOURS since you are the one using it as proof of a game not having as much selling power. get off your high horse and come back to reality.
I'm not saying anything about selling power, I'm just saying Japanese tracked sales put most copies of GT5P as having been bundled, the (free) bundles hugely inflated it's overall figures. I'd also say sellthrough is a significant metric when looking at "selling power" though, if you really want to go there...
But it hasn't put most copies bundled. You are wrong. Adn you are too closed minded to understand why. You are impossible.
Sure it has. 238k standalone copies versus 295k bundled copies. That's not factoring unsold shipped copies or downloaded copies (the latter being a figure we have basically no insight into), again only tracked sales.

thered only need to be about 60k dls to make your styatement false. that would leave 150k still on shelves which id be willing to bet there hasnt been that many since its first month.
