So a few months ago I decided to get Ultra High Speed because I was always using just regular high speed (1.6 Mbps). The ad said I can get up to 7 Mbps but I only got 5.5 Mbps, still a big improvement but I was hoping for 7. Anyway ever since then my internet speed has never been consistent, unlike when I had regular high speed, it just keeps fluctuating.
When I first got Ultra High speed it was going 5.5 Mbps, then it went to 5 then 4.5 and now I average 4. Also every now and then it go down so much (right now it's at .3 Mbps) and it'll stay like that and it'll stay that low for quite some time, it's been actually going this low quite a bit lately. I called them up several times, the first time they did something at there computer and it helped for a bit and then just went back to doing what it always does after about a day or two. Another time they got someone to check the line in my area, it went up to 5 Mbps for that day and then after again back to doing what it does.
I checked my computer with several virus scanners and cleaned out my cach and temporary internet files and reset my modem hundreds of times and nothing seems to be helping.
So I was just wondering if anyone has a clue of whats going on and what I should do?
