pots555 said: Ok! Finding this game is very easy. I have seen 3 used copies at Gamestop. You can also buy it for around 20,00$ on ebay. As far as Walk it OUt! is concerned, well, I am a bit uncertain. I love games that have a different concept and this one sure fits the bill. You walk around these sites and their is an insane amount of objects that you can unlock. I mean a HUGE amount of objects. Every tree, bench, house, street signs, lamp posts have to be unlocked. So it's a great way to stay motivated. To unlock these objetcs, you have to walk around, stepping in beat with the song that is playing. It works pretty well, but sometimes, the controls didn't register. I used the nunchuck in the pocket method. I sometimes got frustrated because my avatar would miss a step I had made because of this. And since coins are given to you each time you have a great of perfect step, it's a bit annoying. I also think that unlocking objects costs a bit too much. A tree, for exemple, can cost you 50 coins, so 50 steps. So it will take a long time to unlock everything. The songs are ok, but since I am a 38 year old man, they are not my thing. Very...hum...teen music. Gets a bit on my nerve at times. Hopes this will help. |
I like games that are unique and funky too. Don't quite get the point of Walk It Out. Is it's intent mainly for some exercise? Good idea for them to include a kazillion unlockables to keep you coming back for more. Got to admit, never seen the Pokemon 'gotta catch them all' idea applied to trees before. Damn those elusive trees, so hard to get.
OT: Can't say I've seen Ski&Shoot used anywhere, but then can't say I've looked either. If I find it cheap I'll probably pick it up. Unfortunately, used copy sales don't help the developers any. Ski & Snowboard is another I might get cheap. But this month it's Sam & Max 2 and Endless Ocean 2 getting my money.
