IGN and Gametrailers responses proof of bad things to come?

1) Gametrailers' response only raised more questions, mainly being why MW2 scored higher if Uncharted 2 was marked down for "not being original".

2) IGN were just adding fuel to the fire by saying "Mass Effect 2 is better than Uncharted 2, deal with it, fanboy". I mean, it's bad enough they compared 2 games of 2 different genres, but to say "deal with it, fanboy" is just completely unprofessional.

My take on those were that those comments were warrented based on the circumstances but no matter if it is warrented review sites shouldnt stoop to this level.
