I'm currently not sure whether to buy the LG 37' LH4000 (Full HD & 100 Hertz) or the LG 37' LH3000 (Full HD & 50 Hertz). The first one would be around 599 Euros and the second one ~ 480 Euro.
My main question is, if 100 Hertz is important for playing PS3 or is the difference between both that visible? What would be better to watch TV and/or play Wii relating to the amount of Hertz? I want to play most of the time PS3 and Wii on it.
Has anyone some experiences with both models?
Please help me! I just got a new PS3 Slim and I want to play it on a TV with HD v_v'

i would suggest you wait just till may 2010 and then buy it.if sony releases 3d tv's at a reasonable rate then it would be great for you.
about the 3d tv's refresh rate.it is 100-120hz minimum but i would suggest 150hz cause most companies have problem with the minimum tech so you should a little bufferzone(extra).
also the 3d tv's hertz requirement thing isn't gonna matter neccesarily cause 3d isn't mainstream yet and they are trying out different ways and technologies to produce it..if in future companies come with another way of producing 3d then your 100hertz tv won't do anything cause the future technology would work differently.
so i would suggest you to wait till may 2010 then when Sony launch their 3d tv's,you will atleast know whether they are using the same tech as now or a new one so that you will be assured that tech is supported well in the future and your PS3 will also work with it.so whichever tech they are using will be supported and will become mainstream

I didn't want to wait until May 2010 because of Final Fantasy XIII and I assume that their 3D TV will be super expensive.

i am not saying you buy Sony tv's only.but you will atleast know at tech they are using.you might buy a 100hertz tv now and then sony and all other tv manufacture bring out 3d tv's that need atleast 200hertz then you buying a 100hertz tv may become useless.you might as well then buy a 80hertz tv then which will be cheaper.
and if you wait till then you will better able to select as you will be assured that you will not have to change another tv again.
and being that you are ready to buy a 600 euros tv which is an expensive one,you might as well wait as sony could price at around that rate too cause they are starting a huge 3d campaign involving sky tv 3d and other networks with 3d fifa world cup so they will not want to price it too high.they might this time price it right for the consumers.sony is launching 3d tv's in may.
i know FF13 the big CGI and next graphic defining game is coming in march but you might regreat about your tv the next month.
i suggest you connect ff13 to your comp screen and play it their in full hd or just wait a month.

I always wanted a 37' TV and I guess I would have to wait at least one year (probably more) until I get a 3D TV with that size for 600 Euros, so I think I made the right decision. Besides I assume that the first 3D TVs won't be that filed.

yeah normally you should buy what you like but recently i read somewhere that all 3d tv's from all major manufactures will require atleast 150-200hertz to display 3d by the new technology with for no lag.
i am just trying to tell you waiting another month would only do you better.cause i have bought in the past suffered the remorse of buying in a hurry that i hurridly bought a thing and then month later a better and advanced version arrived of that tech

Yes you are right, but seriously there is a new technology or feature coming every month. I'm sick of it.. I read multiple times that no current model is able to display 3D no matter how many Hertz it has and I also thought that there is almost no difference between 100 & 200 Hertz. I hate the industry!
