Totally agree^
LG is a fantastic make now, they have came a LONG way from the days when they made a lot of rubbish, we have a 52" LG LH5000 200hz LCD 1080P display that we got 3 days ago as our 11 month old LG went wrong, LG gave us the next model up for free, superb service!
The picture and motion control on the LH5000 is absolutely fantastic, easily on par (and better than a lot) of plasmas out there, Samsung tv's are quite poor these days specially the 2009 LCD models they bought out, panosonic LCD tv's are known to be quite bad at motion too.
To the OP, My mum and dad has the 42" LG LH4000 100hz and it is a superb set, it has so many features and settings, it has 3 HDMI (1.3), 2 Scart, PC input, component, Freeview built in (just connect your aerial), USB, 100hz, etc, one of the best sets on the market for the money!
