lulz microsoft and nintendo arent arrogant xO.
it's PR, i heard microsoft and nintendo said worse, though this is just his opinion, and it's true that even with year headstart ps3 isn't trailing much behind.
but it was microsoft rushing that got them into RROD.
and nintendo wasn't much angel either SNES and n64 era.
that's ignore PR, when the console speaks for itself, the work 180,000 employees.

Looking at the mess that Toyota finds itself in right now, one can clearly see that not all engineering problems, ala RROD, were malicious, even if some disgruntled employee says so...and there hasn't been any fatalities from RRODs. I'm not sure how arrogance fits into gettign a product to market...rushing...lol...funny. Time will tell, but since the PS3...is nearly in the SAME position it was back in 2007, it's somewhat cocky to say we got this in the bag.

If its a choice between arrogants and complete contempt well...

M$ took a chance with the MTBF of the console...and they got burnt on it, but looking back now, it made all the difference in the world for them. Had they launched, when the PS3 did...they would be 10 million consoles behind, if not more, imho. They are now profitable, and 5 million ahead, with 2010 shaping up to be the biggest year of the 360. People forget that it takes 2-4 years ot launch a game, so in 2008, alot of developers and publisher started to rethink how this generation was going to play out...so I think 2010-2012 timeframe will be huge for the 360, imho.
