no they charge when it releases or they ship it to you. if the price decreases at all between when you pre-order and release they will use cheaper. if it raises, you still only pay the cheapest. But since they dont' charge till it releases and whenever the hell that is, make sure you have money in that card (if not credit card) when the time comes. being months away you can forget about it. I sometimes get stuff in mail i completely forgot i bought a long time ago pre-ordered.
but i suggest you just head over to best buy and start camping out now in front of the store. thats what a true fan would do
