I love The Onion though don't visit it much, but I thought it was a satirical tech news site.

Yes they do, they write up a long report of the review then puts a grade next to the report on the right hand side tab.  But sometime they can be crazy too, they gave NSMBwii 5.8/10..... but they must have had a good day to give NMH2, mayeb the game is just plain epic.
