your right and I agree 100%, if everyone was like that then there would be no point in opinions.
its just that they seem to purposely go against the grain to be different. they were the first (to my knowledge) western publication to review bayonetta, ive never know them to do that. its as if they jumped the gun to agree with famitsu and get more attention for themselves before anyone else could. i cant remember another game where edge gave a higher mark that any other major reviewer.
my main problem with them is their inconsistency with their reviews as I pointed out with a few of my examples, not so much that they tend to over rate the 360 games and under rate the ps3/wii games. that might just be a coincidence even though I personally agree with it like heedstone.
