Nintendo's unique strategy

Nintendo seems to be teaming with 3rd parties:

The Last Story - Mistwalker x Nintendo

Metroid Other M - Team Ninja x Nintendo

Xenoblade - Monolithsoft x Nintendo (I know their now 2nd party but still...)

Zangeki No ReginLiev - Sandot x Nintendo

So what are your thoughts on nintendo doing, to boost the next Smash Bros rooster, to make some new ips just cause perhaps?

I'd like to know your opinions on Nintendo's strategy!
